I’m grieving but you don’t know that and I understand because grief too becomes mundane, so I had it printed on this ____ to let you know that I am still grieving _____.’ (Clock version), 2021
It seems that grief, although much more complex when concerning death, is also experienced when we lose a partner, friend, or any relationship we had held onto dearly. I feel it could also occur when we lose a job we love, a thing or we unwillingly have to move past a part of our lives we want to continue. I've been navigating through different types of grief the past few months and noticed grief, too, becomes a part of the everyday. It stays with me in the most subtle ways as I watch TV, brush my teeth, wash my face, and eat. I bluntly showcase grief co-existing with my day to day through these banal objects.
